Once the move date is set, all you have to do is open the door to our professional packers. They will take it from there: pack your household in record time, carefully load it, safely transport it to your new home and then unpack it with the utmost care.

Here's how this works

First we will ask you to provide some details about your move. We will use this information to begin preparing your personalised quotation.

Once we've got those details, our experts will contact you to schedule a date for a survey. This will be either an online survey or a face-to-face survey of your property. The survey allows us to make an accurate volume estimation of the household goods you will be moving. Then we will provide you with a price quotation for your full-service move.

You will receive our personalised quotation, including terms & conditions and full information on transport insurance, within 1 – 2 working days after the survey.

Once all your questions are clarified and you have signed the contract, then your personal Move Manager will contact you to agree on the next steps.

What to take with you when you move

       Go through your things and decide what you want to take with you. Take only those things that you deem are absolutely necessary and will give you a sense of ‘home’.

       If you’re moving on a tight budget, start to drastically reduce the amount of stuff to take with you. Many countries have numerous second-hand stores, so you will easily find affordable furniture.

How to choose between moving providers

        Ask for at least 3 moving quotes and carefully analyse them. Negotiate! See if any of them has the option of placing some items in storage and at what cost.

       Expert tip: To identify quality international movers, make sure they are a member of the International Movers Association FIDI, which provides the only worldwide recognised quality standard in the industry. All FIDI moving companies are independently audited by Ernst & Young.

 Check the insurance coverage and insurance premium. A small difference of 0.5% might make a significant difference when calculated on the insurance value.
